Privacy
Road Sign Math is a small road trip game Jamie Thingelstad runs for fun. This is what it keeps and who sees it.
What’s public
What you post is public, in the app and on this website: your signs’ photos, where each sign was found, the math, your caption, the ways you find on any sign, your name, your profile photo and your badges.
Every photo is saved again without its hidden details (camera, time and location) before anyone sees it. A sign’s place is shown on its map on purpose; a profile photo’s never is.
What stays private
Your email address. It is only used to send you sign-in codes, and it is never shown or shared with other players.
Who helps run it
- Claude, Anthropic’s AI, looks at each photo and post before it goes up.
- Amazon Web Services hosts this website, the app’s server and the photos, and sends the sign-in emails.
- Tinylytics counts visits to this website and screens viewed in the app, and keeps the hearts. It uses no cookies.
Leaving
Delete my account, in the app’s settings, deletes your account and everything you made: your signs and their photos, the ways you added, your hearts, your profile photo and your email address.
